Run your tests again to see if there's a significant difference in processor frequency between the two.
I'd run something like CPUZ or Core Temp and then Possible the C# sample isn't quite intense enough for your processor to ramp up to normal speed whereas running both samples together gives your system enough load to ramp above your processor's minimum speed. If I understand you correctly you're experiencing good frame rate with both samples running together but low frame rate if you run the C# sample alone.is that correct? If that's the case you may be running into some of the odd behavior of SpeedStep. Works good: ASUS P8H77-M LE on-board USB 3 controller.
When I run a C++ sample and a C# sample at the same time, both samples work perfectly 30FPS!! Strange but true. Although the C# samples have a low frame rate.
